The 2005 War of the Lords: All-Alphan 9-Ball Billiards Tournament

The Alpha Phi Beta Chancery will be holding the 2nd War of the Lords: All-Alphan 9-Ball Billiards Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at VIP Room of Gutson's Bar & Billiards,
2nd Flr. Creekside Square, 74 Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City.

Initial Roster of Players:

As approved by LC Judge and some members of the Chancery Board present during the special meeting on Oct. 17, 2005, below is the schedule for the billiards event:


9:00 am-9:15 am	-	distribution of shirts
9:15 am- 9:30 am	-	closing of registration (only duly registered players will be allowed to play); groupings and orientation
9:30 am- 10:00 am	-	warm-up
10:00 am	-	WOTL 9 Ball officially starts

NOTE: Please be reminded that as our contract with Gutson's allows us exclusive use of the Billiards VIP Room from 10:00 am-3:00 pm only, we shall be strictly observing the above schedule

Brods listed in the upper bracket CAN NOT transfer to the lower bracket, but those in the lower bracket, if feeling "unchallenged", may very well join the upper class players.

Brod Pakoy Quilala is 2005 Judicial Excellence Awardee

Congratulations to Brod Francisco Robert “Pakoy” D. Quilala, Outstanding First-Level Court Judge and Best Decision in a Civil Case, First Level Courts, in the 2005 Search for Outstanding Judges, Clerk of Court, and Other Court Officers.

Brod Pakoy is the Presiding Judge of the MCTC of Vintar, Ilocos Norte. He will receive a medal, trophy, and a cash award.

Brod Shane Bautista sworn in as New IBP EVP

Brod Feliciano “Shane” M. Bautista was sworn in as the Integrated Bar of the Philippines’ (IBP) new Executive Vice President on July 19, 2005, in ceremonies held at the Supreme Court New Session Hall. Brod Shane was the former mayor of Santa Barbara, Pangasinan, and has served the IBP in various capacities. He was a National Executive Director and then served as IBP Governor for North Luzon.
